What is the difference between Brazilian, Malaysian, Raw hair and Vietnamese Virgin Remy hair?
Our Brazilian hair is not processed in harsh chemicals. It has 100% cuticles. The hair is full and the bundle contains long strands. You will have no problem with flyaways, shedding or tangling if the hair is taken care of properly. This is virgin hair.
Malaysian hair is similar to Brazilian hair. This hair is chemical-free with 100% cuticles intact. This hair’s body is slightly thinner than Brazilian hair. It is, however, a popular product due to its affordable pricing.
Raw hair is the most luxurious, pure form of hair in the market. It is course, natural, unprocessed. Our raw hair contains 95% long strands and you will have no issues with flyaways, shedding or tangling. But this hair is very coarse, the hair is collected from a single donor and preserved that way so the texture of each bundle might not match exactly. The style and length of this hair are also limited.
Vietnamese Virgin Remy hair is NOT virgin hair. It is Remy hair that is slightly processed with 50%-85% cuticles intact. This hair is a cheap option for people on a budget. It will still last a few months to a year if it’s taken care of. This hair is also good for a short period style switch on a low budget.
Where do you source your hair?
Our hair is sourced from single donors from South East Asia and China. We label our hair with raw hair, Brazilian, Malaysian and Vietnamese because customers are familiar with these names. This is a common practice for all hair companies.
If a company tells you that hair is collected from single donors in Brazil, Peru, Mink, Russia, Africa, Europe, they are lying about their hair and please reconsider purchasing. This is a known fact in the hair industry that hair comes from China, India, and Southeast Asia and rarely anywhere else!
Where are you based and where do you get your hair?
We work directly with top-notch hair factories that are at international trade show level.
We do not work with Ali-express vendors nor do we work with Ali-express factories. Our lowest quality hair is still higher than normal Chinese hair vendor.
We prepare our shipment facility in China or New Jersey USA. This is to maintain low prices for our customers so they can pay less for hair and shipping.
We are offering a showroom in NJ soon.
What are your hair grades?
Hair grade is not an accurate measure of hair quality. Our hair is labeled at 8A, 9A, 10A, and 11A because customers are familiar with hair grades. Unfortunately there are many dishonest companies who lie about their hair grades. For a better understanding of our hair grades, please read this article The Truth About Hair Grade.
What is weft hair?
Weft is the top of the weaving. Hair is double- stitched and bonded onto the weft. It is almost like a track.
Does your hair shed?
Any hair that’s stitched and weaved onto the weft will experience some sort of shedding. As long as it’s minimal then it’s completely normal! It is only problematic if the hair sheds excessively, meaning a drastic decrease in volume, density or grade. Excessive shedding in lace wigs is caused by poor tying procedure since the hair is hand-tied onto the lace. BHE is proud to say that we do not normally have any excessive shedding problems!
What color is the hair?
Our hair bundles and wigs are natural black color unless it’s marked that it is pre-colored. We do not offer jet black hair. Jet black hair is processed and acid-washed hair. Come factories dye these hair jet black to hide the fact that the hair is extremely processed.
Can I bleach/color your hair?
Oh Absolutely! Our hair takes color very well.
Once a hair is colored, it is no longer virgin hair. So make sure the process is being done by professionals. Check out our customize service if you are interested in factory-dyed pre-colored bundles and wigs. Customize
Also note any coloring process without caution may damage the hair’s texture to a un-returnable state meaning potential loss of curl/wave, hair breakage, quality damage, etc. If you want to DIY, please consult a hair colorist or professional hairstylist to avoid over-processing and bad color jobs.
Can I curl or straighten your hair?
Of course! Our hair is all 100% human hair and acts just like your own. But please be careful because over-heating may cause damage to the hair’s texture. Wavy and curly patterns take more effort to straighten. We provide many stylists great hair to start their own line
Take caution when you press heat on our hair because excessive heat may cause deep wave and curly textures to loosen. In most cases, our curly and wavy textures will bounce back after washing.

Is your hair virgin hair?
Virgin hair is cuticle aligned hair that has not been chemically processed, bleached, acid-washed and silicon coated. But nowadays, this word “virgin” is over-used by vendors that provide chemically processed hair. Many customers are tricked into thinking that they got cheap “virgin hair” but only to find out that the hair is a hot mess in a few weeks. Branded Hair Extensions guarantees to provide quality cuticle aligned hair that is long-lasting. We are also a hair supplier to other retailers so we want to help our clients build the best brands! We want their customers to be happy and buy more hair from them! That’s the only way to grow a healthy industry.

How many ounces are in a bundle?
3.2 to 3.5 ounces. (100g)
How many bundles will I need?
The amount of hair you need for a full head depends on your preference and the length you want. We generally use the rule below:
12″ – 14″ 2 Bundles
16″ – 22″ 3 Bundles
24″ – 30″ 4-5 Bundles
Double your longest length when purchasing hair longer than 24″ so that you have a full bottom. For example, 24×1, 26×1, 28×2. Sometimes you will need 5 bundles for a very full sew-in. Closures will not substitute the amount of bundles you will need. Frontals may reduce the amount of bundles depending on your length.
Our Brazilian hair and raw hair is really full. You want us to make a wig for you, you should consult with us first before you purchase the bundles. This is to prevent that you have too much hair leftover.

Do I need to maintain the hair?
of course girl! Treat this hair just like your own because our hair is all real human virgin hair. It needs to be washed, conditioned with sulfate-free products. Conditioning your hair well will make your hair manageable. Good maintenance will always extend the life span of your hair extensions and wigs.
Is Russian Blonde hair high maintenance?
Yes, it is true. Any hair that’s processed to a light color like 613 will be a lot more fragile than regular natural colored hair. It might be entitled to easier breakage because the hair’s nature has been altered by bleach. Make sure you moisture your blonde hair daily with Argan oil and wash the hair with deep moisture shampoo and conditioner weekly.
Can I go swimming?
Yes, you can. Make sure you put your hair in a ponytail or braid it when you go into the pool or hot tub. Pool and hot tub water may temporarily tangle the hair just like they do to any hair. Make sure you wash the hair immediately after you get out of the water and spray a leave-in conditioner. We recommend you to try and keep the hair away from ocean water since ocean water is mixed with a lot of dirt and salt that might matte and tangle your hair.
